Pre-set both start and destination points

Probably not of much use, as you could just plan a journey and link to it instead.

However, this might be useful when many people are coming from similar areas and might want to adjust a preset start point.

Custom journey

Just plan a journey and you'll get a permanent journey number and URL that you can link to, e.g.

https://www.cyclestreets.net/journey/500000/

Journeys are kept on the system, and the route is kept constant. (You can replan the journey at any time, which will then reflect any improvements to the cycling data we use.)

Local versions of the site

Change www in any URL to a location such as cambridge, kingston, london, edinburgh, or whatever, and the whole site will be specific to that area.

This then encourages people to plan other journeys in the area more easily.
